The Folktown Girls
About:The Folktown girls are a group of Folk Music musicians that often performs on on Twilight Immortal. It consist of 3 Members Uno Harriebotten (the Horse) [middle], Babette Shepard (the Sheep) [left], and Holly Van Bolivinna (the Cow) [right]. Out of these 3 Uno is the only one who passed the test as a devotee.
History:
They grew up on A farmland area in Froqie City. They were once a member of a famous Idol Group known as McRoyland Farmyard Cuties, the name taken from their senior highschool name. There used to be 6 member on the group but after 5 years of national fame and half of their member already start doing business of their own, they began to quit the idol world all together. One faithful day, Uno met them on Sunrise City (which is a different part of the continent) exactly at Twilight Immortal. The three then start having a new gigs of their own as each has suprisingly grew fond of folk music.
Members:
Uno Harriebotten
After the end of her idol career she started her college years, She gained public attention after winning the Froqie City Cross Country Marathon Run, as some sort cleaning up her father's name since his defeat years ago. After a while she met one of the wandering Heralds of the Archeon, amazed that the Herald had walked thousand of miles, she soon flies to Sunrise City to became a Devotee on her own will. She is also a regular on Twilight Immortal, appearing twice a week... minus performing that is.
Babette Shepard
After the end of the idol group's life, she came back to her hometown in Farmetheria City on Districant Continent (a different continent). Years after working on her family farmland, she tries to spread her wings on Sunrise City vegetable retail industries. She live in an apartment not far from Twilight Immortal. She later joined as a devotee after meeting a certain Herald with a good voice.
Holly Van Bolivinna
Last but not least of the member, she came to her family company as become the general manager of certain cereal industry on Froqie City. She later move on to work on the hotel business on Sunrise City. Apparently, one night she met Babette and Uno on Twilight Immortal. During that night, she saw a live performance by one of the devotee and got enticed by their skill on using instruments. She later joined the shrine and quit her job... but rumor said that she sells the hotel to someone higher...
Concept and Behind The Scenes:
I made Uno first since... to be honest, she's based from the oldest drawing I did that I can remember... an abstract horse of misshapen forms, it was very old and is drawn on God know where... Point is, it has lost in time, but it DOES looks like any child drawing you could imagine. She's been going through many change, but I decided to make her like that... Later, I thought of adding a dash of Uma Musume element. But of course, I don't like NORMAL horse race... So, her last name came from the worst racer on Japan World Cup... The Haribote Elegy (the cardboard box horse.)... Soooo.... yeahhhhh.... That's also why she goes to the cross country race....
As for the others, I kinda just make Uno as a point of reference, so I took the Old McDoland had a farm kind of tropes and... viola, there they are. There are other member of their old groups but I decided that they aren't worth as much as these 3...
As for WHY they are folk musician, I kind of get the idea after hearing Disenchantment's Opening theme... A LOT recently...
Their first concept art weren't made by my original style, instead, they come up from a random idea I had while fiddling around a "certain japanese dress up game" where I made the 6 of them and start having ideas about idols in Deus Devote's universe.
Reason of Being Cut/Lessen:
They doesn't really fiddle with the main storylines... Let alone they didn't have much interaction between "other devotees" well, except those on the shrine... and on lower ranks. However, since they DO perform on Twilight Immortal, they possibly know the looks of the "higher ranks" but even so, they don't have much interest to intervene or interact to the main story what so ever.
