About:
Poppy Corridellia or Poppy is the Archdevotee of Origin (Change and Light Dualist) that appears in Deus Devote Episode 13: "Fragile Fossil Heart" [1]. Poppy is rather meek and shy, She tends to avoid violence at any cost. Despite this, she is a very good magical attack deflector.

General Information:
Height: 175 cm
Species: Anima[2] Corythosaurus
Title: Archdevotee of Origin.

Signature Skill: The Rain in Jurassic Period. (Normal Form), Golden Amber Peace Pulse (Finale Form)

History:

Poppy was born in Districant[3] before the warring period. She lost her parent during the war and has sworn to never use violence ever since. She built a kindergarten/orphanage as a memorial and tribute for this event. As time grows, her pure and selfless act attracted the Archeon's attention. She later become an Archdevotee because of her kindness.

Ability:

Being a Dualist, She gained blessings from two different Archeon constantly. She is the best magical attack tanker or counter as her umbrella is unmatched on doing so. She has some basic earth manipulation skill and sound manipulation skills. Her signature skill isn't really a damage dealing attack, instead, it is a supportive skill that heals and buff allies. Her signature usage of earth elements are amber like orange crystals that capable to protect and redirect magic attacks. Despite her excellent magic counter ability, her non-counter attacks are moderate at best and her physical attack is just the lowest... Also, She is the slowest Archdevotee.

Her power became exponentially stronger when she initiate her Finale. She gained more boost on physical defense and become more spongy. Despite that, she also gained skills that convert physical attack into magical. Which make her tankier. She also floats by default, which nullifies terrain damages.

Personality:

She is very timid and kind. She is the type of person who wouldn't hurt a fly... She isn't pretty poking out in the crowd type of person tho. She likes children and is rather motherly person. This is due to her history and how children around her are mostly... traumatized by the war in the past. Her hobby is gardening and telling bedtime stories. Although not shown too much, she has affinity toward plush and dolls.

 

 

 

 

Origin:

Concept

    First of all... Every Dualist has some sort of "rules" on how they are designed or determined. Since Poppy is a Dualist of Light and Change, I mix what the Archeon of Light and Archeon of Change might like and put them together. As for the "Archdevotee of Origin" title, I suppose it's because of Origin is the start of every changes and pretty much... because of The Archeon of Light is one of the oldest...

    Her outfit is based on Marry Poppins and The Fourth Doctor. This is solely because Doctor Who is something The Archeon of Light would love and the very childish and everchanging nature of Archeon of Change himself, So Marry Poppins were chosen solely because... She's very child friendly. Her Devotional Weapon is based on Marry Poppins as well, in form of an umbrella. This also give her more of a... magic bouncer/counter "pizzas" to it. The Dinosaurs motive is based on the fact that at the time I made her... We don't have that many dinosaur based Archdevotee. The coloration I choose are because I have tendencies to choose warm colors for hairs and I can say... Poppy does get this treatment except her "heart pattern" and her eyes. Which is taken from pink or the color of love. Poppy is all about being friends and not fighting.

As clear as the day... Her name is based on Marry Poppins and Corythosaurus.

 

Trivial Stuff

- She's one of the weakest attacker. But one of the strongest defenders.

- She has fear for darkness and usually sleep in brightly lit room.

- She can sing and is very  good at piano and kalimba.

- Her umbrella smells sweet. Although in the rain... you can't really smell it.

- She has a degree on geology and archeology. 

- She also has fear of height and tend to... avoid paragliding or airplanes.
